Hi there. I don’t want to sound creepy but milk shares are very illegal in NYS. Please be careful.

You picked up a typo in my goals/planning that I fixed. Thanks. What I sell is shares in my goats, not milk shares. My shareholders get milk and other products from the goats in return for owning part of the goat. Selling or even giving away raw milk is illegal in NYS unless licensed by teh Department of Agriculture and Markets.

From the mouth of the head of the milk control department goat/cow/sheep shares are considered the same thing when milk/milk product is changing hands. Ag&Mkts is fully aware of this method of side stepping them. I know folks who have been snagged on this issue. Have a great day
