Cheese please!

May 4, 2012

Happy Friday!

We will have open farm hours this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, between noon and 2 pm.  Feed baby goats, meet the milking does, tour the creamery, see the new chicks and ducklings, taste cheese and raw goat milk, meet the farmers and cheesemakers, explore the farm.  Raw milk, cheese and eggs will be available for sale.  We are expecting to have these open hours for the rest of May.  The goat kids are growing fast and will soon be weaned so the bottle feeding will end.  Questions about open farm hours should be directed to Talitha at845-401-2301.

Raw milk is available during milking hours at the creamery daily, 7 to 9 am mornings and 6 to 8 pm, evenings.  You need to bring a clean glass container and if it’s warm, think about a cooler in your vehicle.  Our raw goat milk is $5 a quart.  Cheese and eggs can be purchased at this time as well.  Questions about the milk should be directed to Dan at 914-213-9513.

We are located at 348 Angola Road, Cornwall, NY 12518.  We (finally) put up a new mailbox and you can clearly see our name and number.

You can also buy our cheese at Cornwall Farms, Palaia Vineyard and Blooming Hill Farm.

You can eat our cheese at the following fine restaurants: Hudson Street Cafe, Painters, Canterbury Brook Inn, Cosimo’s on Union and Backyard Bistro.
