Winter Solstice

As the shortest day of the year ended and night began, a torrential rain fell in 50 degree temperatures and thunder and lightning raged.  Not typical weather for the end of December.  Tonight we hope to burn our winter solstice bonfire if it isn’t too wet.

    We have a huge pile! Luckily we don’t need a permit because we are a farm.

    We had the same storm in Nova Scotia.Lots of rain, thunder and lightening and now it is snowing big fluffy flakes.
