SUNDAY: Beacon Farmer’s Market from 11 am to 3 pm on the waterfront across from the train station, Beacon, New York 12508

For our special of the week, we will be bringing the last of the Peach Canterbury, our seasonal pairing of fresh peach jam and luscious creamy chevre.  Come taste and bring a half pound tub home for $12.

The goats are nearing the end of their lactation and the milk is diminishing which means less fresh cheese is being produced (all of our aged cheeses were made last winter and spring are are stored in our cave).  We have made the last of our bloomies and they will disappear until next spring by mid September.  We may also have one or two more batches of ricotta in September.  We will concentrate our efforts on our creamy chevre which will be available through the end of markets as will our feta and cheddar.

What is coming soon? We have been testing our two and a half year old goat parmesan as well as our four month aged beer washed tomme and we expect that to roll out in the early fall.  Our jam maker Luna Grown is making up a batch of blackberry jam and we expect to do our next seasonal jam pairing after Labor Day.

We would like to extend our thanks to you for supporting our farmer’s markets this summer and hope you continue to do so through the end of October.  Come get your cheese!
